Back to School: Take a Virtual Tour of Fairfield Prep

Fairfield Prep, one of the most prestigious prep schools in the northeast, needed to showcase its state-of-the-art facilities to potential students.

But with the global pandemic, their usually popular and successful in-person campus tours had to be postponed. Fairfield needed to show students the school facilities without compromising the safety of students, parents or staff.

We proposed a virtual tour. A virtual tour would allow prospective students to tour the facilities, meet students, and get a feel for the place—without setting foot on school grounds.

An immersive, interactive experience

The York & Chapel team went onsite at Fairfield to create an engaging 360° experience of Fairfield Prep. Two of the school’s own students—Will and Caleb—led the tour and did a spectacular job of making any prospective students feel right at home.

Using aerial drone photography, we captured beautiful scenes of the school quad and sports facilities. We used 360° video equipment to capture every corner of the building interiors, including the library, the cafeteria and the gymnasium. And because we’re serious about social distancing, we followed social distancing protocols throughout the shoot.
